Questions You might have:

Do we need to have a kitchen at our school and kitchen utensils, pots and pans etc.?

Answer: Only Electricity. I have my own Propane and water source- and all clean-up is done off site. I bring all the food, the mood and am dedicated to teaching healthy cooking and eating habits. Everything is made from scratch. I purchase organic, sustainable , quality products which reflect Lovin' Spoonful's philosophy: We are what we eat! The idea is to have fun, learn some great technique and go home with recipes to share with families.

Do I carry insurance?

Answer: Yes, Lovin’ Spoonful’s Cooking school is registered as an LLC and carries general liability insurance. I can add your school as an additional insured. Lovin’ Spoonfuls is my third cooking school- so I come to you with a lot of experience and expertise. I previously owned the Le Petit Chef Cooking School in Dundas, Ontario, Canada, and The Floating Chef Cooking School here in San Diego on a boat. I carry a current food safe/handler’s license and up to date CPR. A waiver is provided for each parent on our website.

A little bit more about Chef Carole:

I have owned several cooking schools including the Le Petit Chef cooking school Dundas, Canada and The Floating chef cooking school here in San Diego on a boat. I can’t wait to share my passion and expertise with you. I am the mom of 4 foodie sons (one is a chef and Sommelier engaged to a Pastry Chef), I love to cook, entertain, swim and to play with my two Bernese Mountain dogs Floyd and Lucy.

My husband and I camp, hike, and did I mention that I love to cook? I have trained at the Peter Kump of School of Cooking in New York City, The Cordon Bleu, Disney Institute, and with Marcella Hazan in Venice, Italy – that’s the short list! I am looking forward to meeting you and creating something extraordinary for your school.

I will leave you with this thought:

“If your plan is for one year, plant rice, If you plan is for 10 years, plant trees,
If your plan is for 100 years,
educate children”

- Confucius and Chef Carole
